Transforming complex research into a scalable global report system

Shopify’s annual State of Commerce Report shares insights based on YouGov research across EMEA and APAC. Following the success of the 2023 edition, Chello was engaged to deliver the 2024 report and its supporting campaign rollout across multiple regions and channels.

My role focused on supporting the design and production of the report and its associated assets across digital and print. The report translated a large volume of research and data-heavy insights into a clear, accessible format, designed for ease of understanding across multiple markets.

A wider suite of campaign assets was developed to extend the report across multiple touch-points, including sales and webinar decks, infographics, digital banners, social content, animations, direct mail, and out-of-home applications. All assets were adapted and localised across seven markets: Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, Singapore, and the UK.

To support scale and consistency across regions, a modular design system was used, incorporating a gradient device to help structure and unify the visual language. This allowed insights and content to be efficiently adapted while maintaining a cohesive look and feel across all outputs.

The final rollout supported a broad multi-channel campaign across EMEA and APAC, ensuring the report was delivered clearly and consistently across both digital and physical formats.
