African Adolescent Girl Fund Brand Identity & Rollout

Role: Concept development, brand identity design, rollout, and co-creation workshops

Creating a purposeful, scalable identity to support girls across Africa

Client: Fidel Götz Foundation
Industry: NGO

The Fidel Götz Foundation partnered with Chello to develop the brand for their flagship initiative, the African Adolescent Girl Fund.

The aim was to create a flexible identity that could reflect the voices and ambitions of girls across Africa, while remaining practical for the team to manage and grow over time.

The concept centred around illumination: education as a starting point for confidence, opportunity, and change. This idea shaped a visual identity designed to feel warm, optimistic, and full of energy.

The process was collaborative, incorporating input from the girls the fund supports to ensure the brand felt genuine and representative. The final identity included a symbolic logo, a dynamic colour palette, bold typography, and a suite of custom icons. A full set of templates and a Canva Brand Hub were developed to support consistent, accessible use across print and digital.

The result is a confident, scalable brand that brings clarity and recognition to the initiative, helping the foundation communicate its mission and connect more meaningfully with partners, funders, and communities.
